About this trip

Palaces, a wildlife safari and a night sky full of stars — all in one long weekend. We start from Bangalore at 7:30 AM (please reach a day earlier if you are coming from outside Bangalore). You can also reach Mysore directly if that is more convenient — the price remains the same. Cost is ₹32,500 including taxes for a mom and one child.

Itinerary

Day 1: Bangalore to Mysore & an evening by the lake

We start from Bangalore at 7:30 AM and drive down to Mysore. A taste of the local cuisine for lunch (included). Check in to the hotel and settle down. In the evening we head out to a lake for boating, bird watching and a visit to an aviary. Dinner with dance and music.

Day 1

Day 2: Mysore Palace, Bandipur safari & stargazing

A morning visit to the magnificent Mysore Palace, followed by lunch (included). Afternoon safari to Bandipur with a naturalist. We come back to an evening of stargazing and exploring the night sky with an expert, and wrap up with dinner, dance and drinks.

Day 2

Day 3: Rail Museum & return

Post breakfast we visit the Mysore Rail Museum. Lunch is NOT included. We head back after lunch and drop off in Bangalore City at 4:00 PM and at the airport by 6:00 PM.
